On Thursday 23rd March Ignition Law Co-Founder David Farquharson and Senior Counsel Stephanie Ng participated as speakers in a Virgin StartUp ‘Ready, Steady, Grow’ workshop, providing technical – but also real life – commercial insight to entrepreneurs into what challenges they are likely to face, what points to consider, and genuine business examples to help in that process. The workshop took place at the Virgin StartUp offices in West London.
David and Stephanie covered topics including the post-Brexit landscape and London as a global city, pre-investment tips, choosing the right investor and the negotiation process, shareholders’ agreements and how to maximise success of the exit.
Ready, Steady, Grow with Virgin StartUp is a programme of activities developed to support entrepreneurs from across Greater London looking to start, fund and scale their business. The project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
